• Personal information required to process an order will consist of first and last name, e-mail billing address and delivery address.
• To make a payment we will require further information such as debit or credit card details. We use a third party payment provider in order to process payments via our website. Terms and conditions of sale
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before purchasing any Hygge Socks Limited t/as Hoegr products on the website. By Purchasing Hygge Socks Limited t/as Hoegr products through our website, https://www.Hoegr.co.uk, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions of Sale.
1) Privacy
Please review our Privacy Policy, which in conjunction with the below should govern your visit to our website and to fully understand how Hygge Socks Limited t/as Hoegr processes and uses your personal information.
2) Terms of Sale
• By placing an order through our website, you are offering to purchase a product from Hygge Socks Limited t/as Hoegr and as such are agreeing to our terms & conditions of sale.
• Orders are subject to availability and dispatch times may vary in accordance with this.
• Hygge Socks Limited t/as Hoegr reserves the right to refuse an order placed by you.
• Upon placing an order, you will receive an e-mail confirming receipt of the order.
3) Our Contract
• An e-mail confirming goods have been dispatched will be sent to you. This will also constitute acceptance of your order.
• Once the dispatch confirmation e-mail has been sent, you have entered a legally binding contract with Hygge Socks Limited t/as Hoegr.
• Hygge Socks Limited t/as Hoegr will retain the title in the products until full payment has been received.
• Hygge Socks Limited t/as Hoegr cannot provide any warranties in relation to the goods sold beyond its statutory obligation to provide goods of satisfactory quality in conjunction with the Sale of Goods Act 1979 as amended by the Sale and Supply of Goods Act 1994.
4) Pricing and Availability
• Unless clearly indicated, our prices are inclusive of VAT.
• Product prices shown are exclusive of delivery charges. Delivery costs will be added on checkout. Delivery charges are listed from a link on the website home page.
• We will take every care to advertise the correct price against the product, however, there may be rare occasions where a product may be mispriced. If the product price is lower than the stated price – we will charge the lower than advertised price and ship the product to you. Should the product price be higher than the advertised price, we will, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before shipping the products or cancel your order and notify you immediately of the cancellation, with a full explanation.
• We will always endeavour to either withdraw a product from the website or state that a product is currently out of stock. However should an item(s) ordered become out of stock after order placement, we will inform you of this immediately. We will continue to pack and despatch any other items that may be on the order.
• We cannot hold orders waiting for stock.
5) Delivery
• It is our aim to deliver all products ordered within the time frame advertised, usually between two to five working days. This may vary slightly during busy times, e.g. Christmas or delays occur due to such things as adverse weather conditions.
• Once you receive the despatch confirmation e-mail, the purchased items have been handed over to a third party carrier for delivery. At this point the products are pursuant to a shipment contract. Any risk of loss or damage for the purchased products passes on to you.
• If the items ordered do not arrive in the time given, in the first instance please contact the carrier to check that your items are not being held.
• Should the carrier confirm they do not have your parcel, please contact us directly and we will do our utmost to assist you.
6) Returns
• Up to 14 days from receipt of the products, you may return your purchased items. We will ONLY accept and refund returned items if they are unworn, in good condition and accompanied by the original packaging.
• We only accept returns for refund. If you would like to change your item for a different colour or size, please place a new order to secure stock.
• Only products that have been purchased directly through this website can be returned to Hygge Socks Limited t/as Hoegr. If you have purchased Hoegr branded product from another website or retail outlet, the products must be returned to the original source of purchase.
• Please note: Your right to return products is separate from your statutory right to cancel your order under the Distance Selling Regulations (noted below).
6a) Returns Delivery Costs
• Returned products may be subject to further delivery costs.
• We will not refund the original delivery costs in the case of exchanged products.
• Any delivery costs will be reimbursed in full where you exercise your statutory right to cancel your entire order within the 14 working day period which commences after the day of receipt of the goods under the Distance Selling Regulations. Please see Statutory Right to Cancel below.
• In the case of returns, only the original value of the goods will be refunded to you.
• We will only pay the return costs and subsequent (if applicable), re-delivery costs, if the return is a direct result of an error made by us or the product is faulty. This does not affect your statutory rights
6b) Statutory Right to cancel
• In addition to our Returns Policy, under the Distance Selling Regulations you also have seven (7) working days (beginning the day after receipt of the goods) to cancel your purchase order.
• If you exercise your statutory right to cancel, we will provide a full refund on the price paid for the goods. If you have cancelled the entire order, we will also refund your original delivery charge. If you only cancel part of your order and return only some of the goods delivered to you, delivery charges will not be refunded. The reason for this is that the delivery charge is usually the same price, regardless of the number of items delivered to you and, if you retain part of your order, the delivery charge still applies to the part that you have retained.
• If you fail to return the product(s) in question or you send them at our expense, or if our nominated carrier collects the goods from you, we reserve the right to charge you for the direct costs incurred by us in collecting or returning the goods (other than where the goods have been sent to you in error or where such goods are faulty, in which case, such costs shall be at our expense).
• If you exercise your right to cancel within seven (7) working days, you should return the goods to us as soon as reasonably possible.
How to exercise your right to cancel
In order to exercise your right to cancel, please send an e-mail to info@hoegr.co.uk or write to us at Hoegr, PO Box 11096, Coalville, LE67 0GA, making it clear in your correspondence that you are giving notice to exercise your statutory right to cancel.
Your e-mail or letter will be deemed to have been received by us on the date you send it (provided it is sent to the correct address and in the case of a letter has the correct postage paid and is sufficiently clear that you are exercising your statutory right to cancel). Please do your best to keep the confirmation of any letter or e-mail sent for a record of the date when you sent it.
6c) Conditions for all returns, exchanges or statutory right to cancel
• All products must be returned to us unused, together with all original packaging, you have a duty to take reasonable care of returned goods and any refund may be withheld or a charge applied to you if you fail to take such care and damage the goods. Please ensure that your return package is packed appropriately for posting and securely sealed. Packages must be returned with the freight prepaid. We recommend the use of an insured parcel service, such as Royal Mail Special Delivery or similar.
• We will refund the cost of the goods and the cost of the delivery charges (where applicable) to the method of payment used to place your order within thirty (30) days of receipt of your order or of your notice of your statutory right to cancel.
7) Discrepancies
• Should a discrepancy with your order arise or if your goods are faulty, you must notify us as soon as possible. If you have received the incorrect items, please accept our apologies and please follow the Returns Policy and on receipt of your goods, we will reimburse you the cost of returning them to us. Any replacements will be sent to you at no extra cost to yourself.
8) Complaints
• Should you have cause to make a complaint about our service or product(s), please do so by e-mailing us at info@hoegr.co.uk. Please ensure you clearly state the reason for the complaint. We will endeavour to address the issue as quickly and fairly as possible. We will aim to respond to your complaint within seven (7) working days of receipt. The response will be either a resolution to the complaint or at the very least an explanation or time scale of how we are handling the problem.
9) Feedback
• We warmly welcome feedback on any of our products and or services, this helps us to continually improve our service to you.
• We ask that feedback is fair and justified, should our product and or our service not be to your satisfaction, we will try to respond to this where we see fit to do so. Abusive and threating comments will not be tolerated and we will take appropriate action if we feel it necessary.
